Transfer Admissions

Transfer students are admitted to grades 9, 10 and 11 if space is available in the class. Parents who wish to apply for admission must obtain and complete an application. Students are normally not admitted to 12th grade, except in cases where the family is moving into the area.

Applicants are required to submit copies of their academic records from 6th, 7th and 8th grade, together with a transcript showing courses taken and grades received to date in high school, as well as their scores on all standardized achievement and aptitude testing administered in their schools. While a special entrance examination is not required, the Administration may request that the student sit for specialized placement examinations.

All students seeking transfer into grades 9 through 12 and their parents are required to have an admission interview with the Administration. The parents should call the school after the application has been submitted to arrange an appointment. All students seeking admission to grades 9 through 12 are subject to testing for use of illegal drugs.

Admission decisions will be made after review of the student’s academic records and an interview has taken place.
