All students must access their Naviance account to request transcripts and mark applications as submitted. No materials can be sent to colleges until this has been completed.
Application Missing Materials
Before you panic when you get that postcard or e-mail that says your application is missing materials that we have already sent, most likely, it is sitting in the college admissions office waiting to be processed. Here is the explanation from one large state university:
We receive the vast majority of application documents right at the deadline, and though many people are working many hours on entering those documents into our records, that process takes a long time - perhaps as much as a few weeks from the time your application materials arrive at our office. The "missing items" email service reflects only the documents that have been entered into our database. Therefore, you should allow ample time not only for our receipt of your materials, but also for their entry into our database.
