The Catholic Academy of Sussex County will notify parents about school closings and delays through SwiftReach (via phone call, text, and email) due to inclement weather. During delayed openings Faculty and Staff arrive at the Academy at 9am while students can be dropped off at 9:15am.

You will learn about your routes on August 18, 2024 through August 24, 2024.

You can expect your bus pass and bus pick up information on August 24, 2023 through August 29th, 2023.

By New Jersey State Law, all Bussing starts for all students on September 3, 2024.

• The family’s responsibility is to ensure Nonpublic School Transportation Application (B6T) and Nonpublic School Transportation Payment Voucher (B7T) are filled out and returned to the correct parties.
  • Nonpublic School Transportation Application (B6T) is issued to families in the beginning of the calendar year (January) by Catholic Academy of Sussex County via DocuSign.
  • Nonpublic School Transportation Payment Voucher (B7T) is issued by the public school district to the families via mail in the summer.
• The Catholic Academy's responsibility is to ensure we send out Nonpublic School Transportation Application (B6T) to the families of our Academy in January/ February. We also verify student attendance on Nonpublic School Transportation Summary (B8T) in January and May.
  • Nonpublic School Transportation Application (B6T) must be returned to us by March 1^st because we send it to your public-school districts by March 15^th.
• Public School District’s responsibility is to send the families Nonpublic School Transportation Payment Voucher (B7T) and to send the Academy Nonpublic School Transportation Summary (B8T).
  • Once your public school district receives all three transportation forms Nonpublic School Transportation Application (B6T), Nonpublic School Transportation Payment Voucher (B7T), & Nonpublic School Transportation Summary (B8T) they are to issue a check for aid-in-lieu to the qualified families.
