Pope John Student Spotlight: Maura Campbell '20

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you a new series called “Pope John Student Spotlight” in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Maura Campbell!

 

Campbell is a junior who has excelled in all facets during her time at Pope John. She has earned Distinguished Honors in the while taking courses such as AP U.S. Government and AP History plus Honors Physics, Honors Spanish III, Honors English III and Pre-Calculus. In addition, she became the school’s first NJSIAA Non-Public A state champion in the shot put for indoor track and field this winter after winning with a throw of 35 feet, 10 ¼ inches. Campbell is also a member of the Pope John Ambassadors, Linking Lions, the Key Club and Habitat for Humanity.
