Pope John Student Spotlight: Katie Yarussi '19

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you a new series called “Pope John Student Spotlight” in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Katie Yarussi!

 

Yarussi is a senior who has demonstrated her great abilities while at Pope John. She recently earned “Best Female Vocalist” at the 51st Student Theater Festival at Bucks County Playhouse for her role as Christine Daaé, in the Pope John Players’ production of “The Phantom of the Opera”. Yarussi is also a producer for the state champion Pope John Players, a captain of the field hockey team, a member of the American Spirit Singers, a member of the Honors Choir, and a member of the SEARCH team. In addition, she has earned Second Honors in the classroom while taking courses such as Anatomy/Physiology, History of Great Trials, Honors Select Chorus and Statistics. Yarussi will be attending Ramapo College, where she will continue her academic and field hockey careers.
