Pope John Players to hold 'Spotlight on a Cure' benefit show

The Pope John Players will be presenting its annual Broadway benefit, 'Spotlight on a Cure,' on Monday, May 20 at 7 p.m. in the Old Gym.
The benefit will feature special guests Michele McConnell and Jonathan Scott. All proceeds from the benefit will go toward finding a cure for breast cancer.
McConnell played the original Carlotta in "The Phantom of the Opera," which is the longest running Broadway show, and is the winner of the Pope John Players' annual Contribution to Youth in Theatre Award.
Scott is a 1999 Pope John graduate and is currently a full-time chorister for The Metropolitan Opera in New York.
Tickets are $8 per person or $5 with a can for the Sussex County Food Pantry.
