Pope John Student Spotlight: Olivia O'Hearn '20

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Olivia O’Hearn!


A Sparta resident, O’Hearn is a senior who has demonstrated a wide variety of talents inside and outside of Pope John. She has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Chemistry, AP English Literature, AP Microeconomics, and AP Psychology. She has also been recognized as a Commended Scholar in the National Merit Scholarship Program. O’Hearn is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, the SAT 1400/ACT 31 club, the cross country team, and the track and field team. In addition, she has helped organize the Math Honor Society’s new tutoring program at Reverend George A. Brown Memorial School. Moreover, she and five other Pope John students traveled to Ireland this past summer to participate in the Celtic Irish Academy, a two-week summer school program in Galway City that explores the Irish heritage.
