Pope John Student Spotlight: Jonathan Meyers '20

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Jonathan Meyers!

A Sparta resident, Meyers is a senior who is involved in a variety of activities inside and outside of Pope John. Meyers has proven himself friendly, repeatedly helpful to his immediate peers and underclassmen, builds morale among students, and shows respect to his teachers. He is heavily involved in after-school activities such as Pope John Robotics, the ice hockey team, the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, English Honor Society, Italian Honor Society, Skyland Kings U18 hockey team, and Skyland Kings Junior Hockey team. In addition, Meyers has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Physics C, AP Calculus BC, AP Chemistry, AP English, AP Microeconomics, Principles of Engineering and Design, and Forensic Science. Meyers also volunteers his time with The Monarchs Special Needs Ice Hockey and Learn to Skate programs at Skylands Ice World.
