Pope John Student Spotlight: James Setlock '20

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase James Setlock!

A Wantage resident, Setlock is a senior who has shown a great amount of involvement inside and outside of Pope John. Setlock is a bright student who is a leader of the senior class. He has a passion for art, as his work has been selected to the New Jersey State Teen Arts and displayed in multiple galleries around Sussex County. Setlock is also a member of the boys cross country team, the boys track and field team, and the Pope John Players. He has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, AP English Language, Honors Zoology, Honors Art, Honors Great Books III, and Calculus. Setlock also volunteers his time at Camp Auxilium in Newton.
