Pope John Student Spotlight: Doug Fowler '20

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Doug Fowler!


A Sparta resident, Fowler is a senior who has shown a great amount of involvement inside and outside of Pope John. Fowler has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Biology, AP Calculus AB, AP Microeconomics, AP English Language, AP Human Geography, and Honors Zoology. Fowler also volunteers his time as a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He has earned the rank of Eagle Scout for building a prayer trail at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church in Sparta. Fowler is also a member of Linking Lions, Pope John Student Ambassadors, and the track and field team. Fowler plans to study Economics next fall in college.
