Pope John Student Spotlight: Amanda Scanlan '21

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Amanda Scanlan!

A Hopatcong resident, Scanlan is a junior who has demonstrated a wide variety of talents inside and outside of Pope John. She has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP English Literature, Honors US History II, Honors Art, Physics, and Spanish II. Scanlan is also a vice president of Stand Against Bullying and a member of the Pope John Players, American Spirit Singers, and SEARCH. Scanlan also has had artwork selected at Sussex County Teen Arts and also dances at Dance Dimensions by Michelle in Sparta. Scanlan has a passion for helping others and plans to study speech pathology in college in the future.
