Pope John Student Spotlight: Vincent Cimaglia '20

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Vincent Cimaglia!


A Vernon resident, Vincent is a senior who has shown a great amount of involvement inside and outside of Pope John. Vincent has received a congressional nomination to the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Physics I, AP Statistics, and Honors French IV. Vincent also is an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America. Vincent also is a member of the Math Honor Society and the baseball team. Vincent volunteers his time at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Highland Lakes, where he has gone on mission trips for the church during the summer time. He also is part of the youth leadership council for the Vernon PAL. Vincent will not only plan to serve our country next fall, but also look to study either aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering.
