Pope John Student Spotlight: Christine Hruby '22

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Christine Hruby!

A Flanders resident, Christine is a junior who has demonstrated a variety of talents inside and outside of Pope John. Christine is a compassionate, hard-working, and respectful student who has earned Distinguished Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Computer Science Principles, AP English Literature, AP Environmental Science, AP Spanish, AP US History, Honors Pre-Calculus, and Honors Great Books. Christine also runs the Operation Smile Club, which does service projects and raises funds for children receiving dental surgeries in developing countries. In addition, Christine is a Pope John Student Ambassador and a member of the Math Honor Society, Philosophy Club, Take Action Club, Girls Who Code Club, girls tennis team, and girls golf teams. Outside of school, Christine loves to volunteer her time to bring joy to others. Christine has earned the Gold Award in Girl Scouts and works on service projects for senior citizens with dementia at nursing homes. She is also an altar server at her church and likes math.
