Pope John Student Spotlight: Carly Fitzmorris '21

We at Pope John XXIII Regional High School want to share with you our “Pope John Student Spotlight” series in which we recognize our students’ talents and achievements! Today, we want to showcase Carly Fitzmorris!

A Hardyston resident, Carly is a senior who has demonstrated great talents inside and outside of Pope John. Carly is a kind, respectful, and hard-working student who has earned Second Honors in the classroom and is currently taking courses such as AP Psychology, Honors Calculus, Exercise Science, Forensic Science, English IV, and Sports and Entertainment Marketing. Carly is also a captain of the girls basketball team. During her time on the hardwood, Carly earned an All-NJAC Second Team selection, an All-NJAC Academic Team selection, and two All-NJAC Honorable Mention honors. Outside of school, Carly volunteers as a youth coach for Rise as One basketball, plays basketball for Gym Ratz AAU, works at a cafe in Franklin, likes to hang out with friends, and enjoys the outdoors. Next fall, Carly plans to attend Lock Haven University, where she will major in health science and continue her basketball career.
