SPARTA — Pope John XXIII Regional High School will kick off its 2017-2018 school year beginning next week.

Students in grades 10-12 will enter the doors Monday, while students in grades 8-9 will report on Friday. All students will be bringing all sorts of questions as they prepare for the 180-day school year.

Before it gets underway, here are some frequently asked questions for the first day of school.

When do physicals need to be turned into the school?

They were due Aug. 1. Now that the date has passed, all students who do NOT have their physicals submitted by Monday morning MAY NOT ATTEND class or join in extra curricular activities. Students without physicals will sit in the Old Gym until their physicals are turned in.

How to order school pictures?

If you are ordering school pictures bring your check Monday (Gr. 10-12)/Friday (Gr. 8-9) with the order form. We will have extra forms available or go online, just remember to smile.

What do students need to do to register for lunch?

All parents of new students need to register before Monday at www.k12paymentcenter.com and add money to your child's account.  Parents of returning students just need to add money to their accounts. Don't forget to set up a minimum balance alert! Students need to remember their ID numbers until lunch cards are issued. No cash will be accepted.
