PJ's Aragona, Garcia, Ventresca capture state titles

The Lions saw senior JoJo Aragona capture the 138-pound state title, senior Robert Garcia claimed the 152-pound title, and junior Eddie Ventresca won the 120-pound title in the finals of the 86th NJSIAA Wrestling Championships on Saturday at Boardwalk Hall, marking the first time that Pope John has multiple state champions in the same year.

Ireland Burke signed his letter of intent to play for Boston College; Louis Montana signed his letter of intent to play for the University of Richmond; and Giovanni Potente signed his letter of intent to play for Fordham University.
