Pope John Spectator Information

Dear Parents and Legal Guardians,

I want to thank you for your continued support of our student athletes and patience with the constant changes to the typical winter season that we are all accustomed to.

Today, the Governor has issued new Spectator guidelines for High School sports. Up until today, the NJAC conference policy was NO SPECTATORS allowed at any winter contest.

Attached is a letter from the NJAC Principles on the Spectator guidelines for the NJAC, beginning at Pope John on Monday, Feb. 15.

Pope John will begin allowing spectators into the building on Monday, Feb. 15 with 2 Parents or Guardians only per home team VARSITY player, for Varsity contests only.

There will be no sub-varsity spectators allowed this year.

If a parent or guardian is not available to make the game, another family member or friend WILL NOT be permitted to take their place.

We will have a list of who the 2 Parent or Legal Guardians are at the door based on your PowerSchool profile.

All Parents/Guardians must fill out the attached COVID compliance form, and hand it in at the door each time.  You will not be allowed entrance without this form. This is for the safety of all at our campus.

Skylands Ice world for Hockey will be following the Governor's Guideline effective immediately and will be screening the 2 Parent or Guardians using their own protocols.

I encourage you to continue to have your family and friends subscribe and watch the games on Livestream (link below)

Thank you for helping allowing Pope John to operate with in-person instruction for 87 days by continuing to adhere to the protocols of wearing masks and social distancing.

THESE PROTOCOLS WILL BE ENFORCED AT ALL GAMES.

Enjoy the games,

Mrs. Gavan
