Transportation

Pope John XXIII Regional High School, in conjunction with local public school districts, county education commissions and contracted bus companies, has assembled a transportation network for all parts of North Jersey. We service Sussex, Warren, Morris, and Passaic counties along with specially contracted routes in other parts of North Jersey. We also have pick-ups at both NJTransit Dover and Ledgewood train stations.

For more specific information, please select one of the following options to learn more:
 
  • Public School Districts provide busing routes to Pope John XXIII Regional High School. These routes are determined by each individual public school district and the Sussex County Education Commission. There is no additional fee for busing in Sussex County within 20 miles of Pope John XXIII Regional High School.
  • Transportation is provided by local public school districts and the Warren County Education Commission within 30 miles of Pope John XXIII Regional High School. 
  • Transportation is still provided outside of 30 miles of Pope John XXIII Regional High School; however, there is a transportation fee issued to the family. This is an annual fee and is non-refundable.
  • Transportation is provided by local public school districts and the Morris County Education Commission within 20 miles of Pope John XXIII Regional High School. 
  • Transportation is still provided outside of 20 miles of Pope John XXIII Regional High School; however, there is a transportation fee issued to the family. This is an annual fee and is non-refundable.
Contracted Routes:
  • Route 1 - Great Meadows/Hackettstown/Chester/Mendham
  • Route 2 - Roselle/Irvington/Orange/Newark
  • Route 3 - Pine Brook/Parsippany/Rockaway/Wharton
  • Route 4 - Kinnelon/Macopin/West Milford
 
For these contracted routes, a transportation fee will apply. This is an annual fee and is non-refundable. For further information, please contact the Transportation Office at Pope John.
