Christian Service

To fulfill Pope John XXIII’s Mission Statement “to be an honor to the Father” as well as Diocesan guidelines, students are required to complete Christian Service hours prior to graduation.  Students are encouraged to experience firsthand the joy of serving through putting into practice the gospel mandate to “love others as ourselves,” particularly the needy, suffering and less-fortunate in our midst.  A variety of service opportunities are advertised in school but students are encouraged to engage locally, particular with their parish community.  Students are given an opportunity to integrate this service into their overall educational experience through theological reflection in class.
